In cooperation with the market research institute Statista, the German business magazine FOCUS-BUSINESS presented the fastest growing companies in Germany for the fourth time in a row . MGL LICHT participated in the 2018 competition and was selected as “Growth Champion 2019”. The result of the competition is that MGL LICHT belongs to the top 500 strongest growing companies in Germany and takes position 85 in the overall ranking. All companies had to undergo an extensive test procedure.
The competition was based on about 2 million companies recorded in the commerical register, among which Statista filtered out about 12,000 independent companies from different German branches which showed a high growth in sales and employees between 2014 and 2017.

The company develops LED luminaires and systems for professional applications. Sales in Germany – which is the company´s most important market – is organized via electrical wholesalers to electricians and then to the owner/client. Outside of Germany, MGL cooperates successfully with sales partners in Switzerland (main foreign market), Austria, Ireland, Iceland, Spain and Finland and has established contacts with further countries.
